1. Who Can Use Vihaya
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vihaya. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf. Vihaya is not intended for children under 13.
2. What Vihaya Provides
Vihaya is a free study-companion app for engineering and school students. It offers:
- Subject-wise notes and previous-year question papers (PYQs)
- Developer tools: code compiler, unit/base converters, graph plotter, scientific calculator
- Bookmarks, offline saved material, XP / level progression
Vihaya does not charge users for these features. The app is supported by ads.
3. Your Account
- Provide accurate sign-up details. Keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your password safe.
- If you sign in through Google and also create an email/password account with the same address, those may be treated as separate accounts — contact us if you need them merged.
- Tell us at vihaya.app@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Acceptable Use
When using Vihaya you agree NOT to:
- Break any applicable Indian or international law
- Upload content that is harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or harassing toward others

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Vihaya has no tolerance for objectionable, illegal, or abusive content or behaviour. Every piece of user-generated content (uploaded notes and PYQs, marketplace listings, reviews, and profiles) can be reported from within the app, and you can block any user so you no longer see their content. We review reports and will remove violating content and suspend or remove the responsible users — typically within 24 hours of a report.
We may remove content or disable accounts that violate these rules.
5. User-Uploaded Notes & PYQs
Vihaya lets students upload notes and previous-year questions to help others in the same subject. When you upload content:
- You confirm you have the right to share it (it is your own work, public-domain, or appropriately licensed).
- You grant other Vihaya users a non-exclusive right to view and save it for personal study.
- You grant us a license to host, display, distribute within the app, and create thumbnails for it — only as needed to run Vihaya.
- You can delete content you uploaded at any time (it stays available to users who already saved it offline).
Copyright complaints
If material on Vihaya infringes your copyright, email vihaya.app@gmail.com with the specific link, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights-holder or authorized to act on their behalf. We will review and remove material within a reasonable time.
6. Study Material — Disclaimer
Notes, PYQs, and other study material on Vihaya are shared to help you revise. They can be incomplete, out-of-date, or contain errors. Treat them as a starting point, not authoritative. Always verify with your textbook, instructor, or qualified professional before relying on them for exams.
7. Ads
Vihaya shows ads served by Google AdMob. Tapping an ad takes you to the advertiser's content; we don't control or endorse it. See our Privacy Policy for details on how ad-related data is handled.
8. Service Availability

Vihaya is provided “as is.” We do not promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Study material accuracy is the responsibility of the user who uploaded it; verify before relying on it for exams.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by Indian law, Vihaya is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost marks, lost data, or missed deadlines — that arise from your use of the app. Since Vihaya is free to use, no refund is owed.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
